Prodigy is proposing the construction, operation, decommissioning and abandonment of the Magino Gold mine, which includes an open-pit mine and processing facilities. The mine is located 14 kilometres southeast of the town of Dubreuilville, Ontario. For the purpose of the environmental assessment, the milling rate has been evaluated at a capacity of up to 35 000 tonnes per day and will process up to 150 million tonnes of ore.
Both Argonaut and Prodigy are committed to operating in a safe, environmentally responsible, cost efficient manner, while honouring commitments to the communities where they operate. This commitment is grounded in their corporate culture and is operationalized through their corporate governance activities, community contributions, and their environment, health, and safety practices.
